The Problem: A single play slip usually contains five draws. You can play any number of draws up to five on each slip. If you bet five dollars to play all five draws and use random numbers, number generators, or quick picks to pick the numbers played, it is easy to end up with the problem below:

1) On the first draw, you may get one correct number.
2) On a second draw, you may get two correct numbers.
3) On a third draw, you may get one correct number.
4) On the remaining two draws, you may get no correct numbers.

On this five draw play slip you have picked 4 correct numbers without winning anything. There have been many instances of players picking 3, 4, or 5 correct numbers but the player not end up winning because 3, 4, or 5 winning number combinations were not on the same draw on that five draw play slip.

The Solution: A wheeling system gives the player a much greater opportunity of getting winning combinations and being in the money with every drawing.
